Applies to purchases made between April 16, 2010 and April 25, 2010.Call A&R Mechanical Services today to ensure an installation date within the week of April 16th to the 25th.

How do I apply for the rebate?
The rebate application will be a paper application to be mailed in along with the original purchase receipt.A&R Mechanical Services will provide you with the application and receipt.

Can I reserve an appliance rebate?
Yes, consumers will have the opportunity to reserve a rebate reservation via an online registration form or 1-800 number approximately two weeks prior to the program kick-off. It is not necessary to have a rebate reservation to send in a rebate application. However, rebates will not be guaranteed.

Do I need to have a reservation in order to apply for a rebate?
No, a rebate reservation is not required in order to apply for a rebate. However, rebate requests without a reservation cannot be guaranteed and will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis.

How many rebates can I get?
Each household may qualify for two appliance rebates and two recycling rebates and cannot be for the same appliance type (for instance, you may not qualify for two refrigerator rebates).

Will I be required to provide proof of appliance replacement?
Yes, you will be required to provide proof that you are replacing a functional appliance of the same type for which you are requesting a rebate.

Will I be required to recycle my old appliance?
No, appliance recycling is not required. However, if you would like to receive an additional $75 for recycling your old, functional appliance you will be asked to provide proof of recycling. If you choose not to recycle your old appliance you will be asked to demonstrate proof of proper disposal.

Will I be required to provide proof of appliance installation?
Yes, you will be required to demonstrate proof of installation. A&R Mechanical Services will provide this to you.

Can the appliance rebate for heat pumps be used in conjunction with the federal tax credit that currently exists for the purchase of this type of appliance?
If the appliance meets both the Texas criteria and the Federal tax credit criteria, it could be eligible for both.
